Baseball time.....

We've been busy with baseball the past few days! Astros game on Sunday and Longhorn baseball on Monday evening. We are super excited that the Horns are heading to the College World Series for the 33rd time! Hook 'em Horns!

7 Months Old!

7 Months Old already! Time is flying by. Aubrey is doing great. So much has happened this month. He's sitting up pretty well and can play for some period of time in this position. He is rolling over in all directions and doing some scooting. He's discovered that sleeping on his stomach is what he prefers and gets there, even though I lay him down on his back. He only wears his corrective shoes at night! woo-hoo!! He is eating stage 2 foods and makes silly faces with new flavors. I've introduced "puffs" and the sippy cup. Neither are near being mastered but they are offered frequently. He enjoys his jumperoo and turns when we call his name. He's babbling and I'm convinced his first word will be "dada" because he using that consonant the most right now. :-) He smiles and laughs and still doesn't mind being left in the morning at daycare. He sleeps fairly well, still has some crying fits during the night. He is napping in his crib on the weekends. He travels well and does well when we take him out to dinner with Matt and Jen and get him off his schedule. He celebrated his 7 month birthday at his fourth Astros game! He's pretty much a regular there. Oh, he's also starting to get his first tooth!!

Aubrey had some "professional" pictures done at his childcare in April and we just now were able to get a few. Although I don't think I would have dressed him in this gear, his dad loved it and he does look pretty darn cute, serious face and all.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Aubrey had his first trip to the pool on Memorial Day. We went to my parents pool in Longwood and he checked out the big pool and the baby pool. He did well sitting in his float. We are hoping to go back again soon. Here are a few pictures....
