First Day of School

This week has been an exciting week for Aubrey. He started school on Monday so his mommy could go back to work on Thursday. We started him full time in order for him to adjust to being in a new environment and so far he's done well. He smiles at his teacher Ms. Gloria every morning, always takes at least one long nap and does great taking his bottles.

He even gets a class picture tomorrow. He'll have to wear his best outfit!! I have no idea how they'll get 8-10 babies in one picture...I imagine a few may be sleeping. Here are a few more pictures of him from February.

Learning to roll

On Friday, February 13th Aubrey rolled from his tummy to his back and continued this over the weekend. He finally showed Jody that he could do it today and then proceeded to roll from his back to his tummy! It was so neat to watch him work on this new skill. Now when he's on the changing table he won't lay there without squirming and twisting.....so we'll have to be extra careful. Hopefully I'll be able to get some action shots of him rolling and post them soon. :-)

Three Month Update

Aubrey will be three months old tomorrow, Saturday, February 7th! We can't believe how fast he is growing and changing every day...we've had a few nights where he's slept 8 hours straight!!! He's eating 4-5 ozs now and seems to enjoy holding his head up and tummy time. He almost kicked himself over from his tummy to his back today!

Laughter......

Today Aubrey laughed out loud.....it was so quick and I think he may have surprised himself that he did it. I know there are more to come so we will wait patiently for our next giggle. I can't wait until he does it for Jody. :-) I had to remember the day with a short blog.

Congrats to our FAVORITE RUNNERS!

On Sunday, the family was able to head downtown to see our two of favorite people carry out an exciting goal. Both Grandpa Jim and my BFF Jen, ran in the Houston Marathon on Sunday! It was my dad's 40th marathon, so congrats to him...what a great achievement and it was Jen's very first marathon. We were super excited to watch them head towards the finish at the final mile. We congratulate them both on a great finish!!!
